FINS!


Not only are fins vital in the ocean, but at swim practice they are a very important training device. Using fins helps body position. ankle flexibility,improves kick strength,and helps by moving a person faster through the water. There are many different types of fins that target different muscles in the your leg when using them. For example, Shortblade fins like Zoomers, make you work harder and is less stressful on the ankles. The fins that are used in the ocean are not the best for training in practice. This is because the length of scuba fins are meant for slower movements.
